Production Director -
Terry Lee Briggs has been an anchor and reporter at ESPN 103.3 FM since the
station went on the air in April 2001. He brings over twenty years of
experience radio and television sports production.
A graduate of Grand Prairie High school, Briggs attended the Ohio State
University in Columbus, Ohio where he earned a degree in Communication with
a minor in Journalism.
His TV career began in 1982 at KXAS-TV, the NBC affiliate in Dallas-Fort
Worth as a sports editor and producer. Then in 1984, he left the television
station to take a job as the producer of a nationally syndicated half-hour
show called "NBA Weekly" working for a TV production company. While at LMP,
Briggs also began reporting and then in 1987 he returned to KXAS where he
began doing on-air work for the sports department there. He has covered five
Super Bowls, the NBA, NHL and Major League Baseball playoffs and also enjoys
covering golf, motor racing and horse racing. He lists his favorite sport as
baseball. His accomplishments include Texas Associated Press and Dallas
Press Club awards for reporting and editing.
